Andrew Dresner is a Director in Oliver Wyman’s North American Retail and Banking and Strategic IT practices working out of the New York office. Andrew has a particular focus in Payments, Retail Operations, and Technology issues as applied to retail banking.

Andrew has over 20 years of experience as a consultant to the financial services industry. He has focused on technology strategy for financial institutions, business strategy for technology vendors, and technology alliances/outsourcing. Clients he has served include banks, securities firms, insurance companies and technology vendors to the industry. A major focus throughout his career has been on payments issues including item processing, credit and debit card processing, and electronic bill payment. He has recently led several strategic studies for payments vendors serving the check, credit card, debit card, and stored value markets.
