Jack R. Allison

Jack Allison started with Commerce Bank in 1986, when the Bank was getting ready to open its 13th Store. In the twenty-one years that have followed he has held many responsibilities at Commerce, while the Bank has added $45+ billion in assets and 400+ additional Stores.
From 1986 to 1989, Mr. Allison held various positions in the Retail organization both in the field as well as in Finance, Operations and Management. In 1989, Mr. Allison helped to launch the University both administratively and as a Trainer. From 1992 to 2004, Mr. Allison worked to grow the IT capability at Commerce Bank. This included building out all of the functional areas of Infrastructure, Service and Systems Development. In 2004 Mr. Allison moved into a newly created position of Director of Retail Strategy in order to align Commerce Bank’s Retail initiatives for maximum return. Currently Jack is responsible for all of Commerce Bank’s Complementary Store Services, which include the Web, ATM and IVR channels. These channels are responsible for nearly 25 million customer experiences per month.
Mr. Allison received a B.A in Economics from Saint Joseph’s University, and is currently enrolled in an Executive Master’s in Technology Management at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Allison and his wife, Sherri, have two children Keith and Julia.
