Marcia Maurer was named Chief Financial Officer of Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District and County Sanitation District 1 in February 1999 and has been with the County of Sacramento for more than 20 years. Prior to coming to the Districts in 1996, Marcia served as the Administrative Services Officer for the Probation Department for over five years.

While at SRCSD Marcia has been responsible for the issuance of more than $1.5 billion of debt. This debt includes fixed, variable and auction rate securities, crossover refunding debt, and five different swaps with a notional amount of $765 million. She is currently responsible for the Sewer Lifeline Rate Assistance Program and Septic Tank Conversion Program along with managing budgets, rates, and fees. She was also responsible for the development of a two-tier impact fee system for SRCSD, a key team member for development of the Economic Development Bank and Industrial Buyback policies for SRCSD, and participated in the development of sewer impact fee outreach programs. Marcia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of California, Davis and a Masters in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento.
