Ted is a Team Leader of the Midwest region and the co-manager of the Chicago Office. He is responsible for overseeing public finance credit issues in North Central portion of the United States and serves as lead local government analyst of Illinois. Ted first joined Moody's in early 1998, covering the Great Lakes region and handled a diverse portfolio of credits until mid 2001. He rejoined Moody’s from Brown Brothers Harriman where he was an International Credit Analyst. He helped establish the Moody’s Chicago Office in late 2002. Previous professional experience includes work with Eastern European municipal entities during transition from communism at the Soros Foundation and as an Information Officer at the Office of the Spokesman for the Secretary General of the United Nations. He is currently the Vice President of the Chicago Municipal Analyst Society and a member of the Board of Governors of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts. Ted earned a Masters degree in International Relations from London School of Economics, a Masters degree in Modern History from Central European University in Budapest and a Bachelors in Modern History from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA.
