Dear Colleague:
The 6th Annual Branch Banking Symposium will address the strategic issues facing financial services executives and provide proven insights from some of the industry's most renowned delivery channel authorities.
This is the "must attend" Branch Banking event of the year!
I have been honored to chair this event since its inception and attendees have, year-after-year, provided very positive feedback as industry leaders have openly shared their branch and delivery channel plans, experiences and new ideas.
This year, we find the industry in a very unique situation given the challenging environment created by the "Credit Crisis". Notwithstanding this unique situation, the focus very much remains on driving profitable future growth and securing and retaining customers. Clearly, effective delivery and distribution strategies and tactics are fundamental to these growth objectives.
At this year’s event, we will plan to address the following questions:
- Is recent branch growth in the US sustainable in this new era of financial services?
- Who is creating compelling customer value propositions around branch banking and how are they doing it?
- Will potential further customer migration to "remote" channels (including Mobile Banking) displace branch usage or will branches take on another life in serving customers and driving growth for financial institutions?
- What will the branch of the future look like?
- How will technology impact branch banking and how successful will the industry be in achieving what is commonly referred to as "multi-channel integration" of the branch with other channels such as call centers, the Internet and ATMs?
- What is the future opportunity for non-branch delivery channel models?
I invite you to join us to be part of what is widely considered the premier delivery and distribution channel event in the financial services industry.
Yours truly,
Mark P.J. Sievewright
