Jim McCormick is a founder and president of FMCG. During Jim’s 25+ years of consulting he has built expertise in disciplines ranging from strategy to acquisitions to marketing to MIS. Often a keynote speaker at major conferences, he is an acknowledged thought leader in retail banking and has authored over 25 white papers on banking.
Although Jim is president of the firm, his first calling remains working with individual
clients. He has consulted for many of the largest banks, other financial service firms,
telecommunications, media, and technology companies.
Jim has given testimony to the U.S. Senate Banking Committee and has appeared over
200 times as a speaker before various industry groups. He has appeared on CNN,
Bloomberg, CNBC, and other television venues. He has been widely quoted in national
publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Institutional
Investor, The Economist, Forbes, and Fortune.
Mr. McCormick holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees with honors from Cornell
University.
Jim’s philanthropic activities relate primarily to education, including:
