Betty Rengifo Tucker is Executive Vice President for Retail Banking Operation in the Western Market.

During her nineteen-year career in Financial Services, Rengifo Tucker has held senior level positions in Retail, Business Banking, and Strategic Planning. She is responsible for overseeing the retail banking centers network and operations for Comerica Bank within two states: California and Arizona.

Before joining Comerica Bank, Rengifo Tucker was Senior Manager for Business Banking, Merchant Services and National Director of Sales Integration and Market Development for Wells Fargo. She was also a director of business strategies for branch retail system in Los Angeles where she managed business and sales strategies for more than 300 branches in Southern California.

Rengifo Tucker speaks regularly to various Financial Services institutions about customer-centric strategies in the US and abroad. She helps to educate entrepreneurs and executives who maintain small businesses in the Western United States.

Rengifo Tucker currently serves on the Hispanic Employee Resource and Network Group & Market Segmentation Team at the bank, focusing on promoting inclusiveness and understanding internally, and supporting the company’s growth in these communities.

She contributes a substantial amount of time to communities, charities and nonprofit organizations. Rengifo Tucker also founded several Diversity-related initiatives, such as the Greater Los Angeles Diversity Council and was Co-Founder of several Team Member Resource Groups in LA and across the nation. These initiatives focused on career growth and community involvement for Hispanic team members locally.

Rengifo Tucker is President of the Hispanic Outreach Taskforce in Los Angeles. In addition, she is a board member of Junior Achievement of Orange County, Community Financial Resource Center (CFRC), and the Professional Network Group, which she founded in 1992.

Rengifo Tucker was the recipient of Pepperdine University’s American Spirit Award, for her outstanding professional achievements and dedicated public service to the State of California and Communities. She was also awarded a special recognition by the Colombian Government, for her service to the Colombian community around the country.

A native of Colombia, South America, Rengifo Tucker grew up in Southern California and speaks Spanish fluently. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego State, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with an emphasis on business. She received her Executive Masters of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University, and is a graduate of the Consumer Banker’s Association Graduate School of Retail Bank Management, and the Bankcard Management School.
