Steve currently is the Executive Director of the Northwest Parkway Public Highway Authority, and also served as Executive Director for the E-470 Public Highway Authority from 1991 – 1998.

He was a Colorado State Representative from 1975 – 1976 and he is currently serving his 22nd year as an Aurora, Colorado City Council Member.

Steve sits on the board of directors for several economic development and business advocacy organizations, and has been awarded several honors over years.

Steve has been a speaker regarding toll road planning, financing, construction and operations to groups such as the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association, ARTBA, the Cascadia Discovery Institute, the Colorado Department of Transportation, and the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute.
