"The Long and Winding Road..." Bus Tour

Please join us for a bus tour of the ground-breaking transportation projects in the Denver metropolitan area. We will visit the Northwest Parkway project for insights on the first toll road concession in Colorado - a 99-year lease between Brisa and the Northwest Parkway Public Highway Authority, the 47-mile E-470 Toll Road which was developed by the E-470 Public Highway Authority using innovative financing and public-private partnership approaches as well as the mammoth multi-modal $1.7 Billion T-Rex project. T-Rex is a first of its kind, "next generation" project - incorporating both highway and light rail using design-build, accelerated schedules and TRANS financing all as part of a unique collaboration between the Regional Transportation District (RTD) and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). We will also see the I-25 HOT Lanes - another venture between RTD and CDOT that has been a rousing success.
