With a varied background in human resources management, Nancy joined Navy Federal Credit Union to manage their health/welfare benefit plans February 1989. Nancy assumed the role of Vice President, Compensation & Benefits in 1996. As a member of senior management, she works extensively work with top management and Navy Federal’s Board of Directors, particularly in the area of Executive Compensation. Navy Federal Credit Union is the world’s largest credit union with assets exceeding $34B, over 7,500 employees (growing at the rate of about 1,000 new positions each year), over 150 branch offices worldwide (with a 180 new branches planned to open over next 6 years) and 3 million members. Navy Federal serves the Department of Navy personnel and contractors and was named for the first time to Fortune's 2007 list of 100 Best Companies to Work For.

Nancy is Certified Compensational Professional, has attended two University of Michigan’s executive business courses (Strategic HR Planning and Management II) and recently received a Change Management Training Certificate from Colorado State University. Nancy is working to complete her undergraduate degree through James Madison University’s adult degree completion program with a Bachelor’s, Human Resources Management. She is an active member of WorldatWork, Society for Human Resources Management, International Foundation of Employee Benefits, HRA, WEB and Corporate Leadership Council. She has served as a past President, Metropolitan Washington Work/Life Coalition and as a Member of the CARE (Companies as Responsive Employers) Award Advisory Committee for the Northern Virginia Family Service. Nancy is a native of Virginia, lives with her family in Fairfax, VA and enjoys bowling, walking, reading and going to the beach.
