Tom Brown is currently Consumer Lending Risk Director, Customer Account Management at Chase Card Services. He is responsible for developing, maintaining and continuously improving existing cardmember policies including Credit Line Management, Marketing Credit Policy and High Risk Account Management for the bulk of the MasterCard/Visa Card portfolio.

Tom joined Chase in June 2003 to manage Collection Strategy and was responsible for setting overall collection strategy for pre- and post- charge-off collections, developing and maintaining collection scores, implementing effective marketing campaigns targeted at delinquent customers, and, establishing and monitoring all alternative payment programs. Prior to joining Chase, Tom has had a successful career in Risk Management and Collections with a number of large consumer lending and credit card issuers including GECC, Citibank, Broadway Department Stores, Household Retail Services and Wells Fargo Bank.

Tom, most recently, was the Business Manager for Wells Fargo’s Personal Lines and Loans business. His career responsibilities have varied from collection projects and collection management (internal and external) to acquisition risk policy for Citibank Preferred Visa, credit cycle management for the Citibank Financial Account and private label retail card portfolio management.

Tom’s product experience includes bankcards, private label credit, secured and unsecured installment lending and lines of credit and home equity and auto collections. Tom is on the Advisory Boards for the ABA School of Bank Card Management and the Take Charge America Institute for Consumer Financial Education and Research at the University of Arizona.

Tom graduated from Clarkson University in upstate NY with a B.S. in Mathematics and earned his MBA in Finance from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.

Tom is an avid golfer and runner. He and his family currently reside in Avondale, Pennsylvania.
