Mark Clare is the Vice President of Data Integration Services at TIAA-CREF with management responsibility for Master Data Management, Enterprise Data Movement and Business Intelligence. This includes the enterprise-wide data management strategy, standards, policies, processes and architectural functions in the organization. Mr. Clare is responsible for driving “best practices” data strategy and management in concert with the implementation of new technologies and architecture to ensure the success of all data related business initiatives. In addition, he has led the creation of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Program, whose mission is to develop and execute a framework to deliver data that is reliable, available and consistent to maximize the quality of the products and services delivered to TIAA-CREF’s customers and employees.
Mr. Clare is an information technology strategist with more than twenty years experience in the financial services, healthcare and manufacturing sectors. His diverse leadership, data management, architectural and technology experience provides him an integrated end-to-end view of organizations and their position in today’s changing data management environment. He has extensive industry, information technology, and operational experience in addition to management consulting experience with Deloitte Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers. This includes leading corporate startups, large corporate transformations, development of enterprise architectural programs, enterprise-wide business intelligence programs and master data management initiatives. Mr. Clare has a Bachelors degree from Furman University and MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management. |
