Mark A. Turner

Mr. Turner is President and CEO of WSFS Financial Corporation. Mr. Turner was previously Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Financial Officer for WSFS. Prior to joining WSFS, he worked at other regional banking organizations, including in the Corporate Development Department of Meridian Bancorp, Inc. Mr. Turner started his career at the international professional services firm of KPMG, LLP.
Mr. Turner received his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Turner also received his Masters degree (MA) in Executive Leadership from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Mr. Turner graduated from LaSalle University in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management. He received his CPA in 1987.
Mr. Turner serves on the Boards of Directors of: the Delaware Bankers Association (Executive Committee and Chairman-elect), the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce (Executive Committee), the Delaware Community Foundation (Finance Committee member and past Chairman), the Lincoln Club of Delaware (President-elect), and the WSFS Foundation. Mr. Turner is a member of the American Bankers’ Association Government Relations Council, the Board of Trustees of Christiana Care, Inc., the University of Delaware’s Business School Advisory Board and the Delaware Business Roundtable.
