Just Rewards: What’s Working, What’s Not and What’s Next

Presenter:

Brian Riley,
Senior Analyst, TowerGroup

Almost three quarters of all credit card purchases are associated with a rewards or loyalty program. Rewards are a significant weapon in the arsenal of every major issuer to acquire cardmembers, retain customers and increase card spend.

As the US economy changes, issuers must consider how their rewards programs can adapt to business needs. How can they be used to improve credit performance? Can the same technologies used to reward be deployed to mitigate risk? At what point in the account lifecycle do the programs wane? To what degree should issuers outsource? What’s the best way to deal with dormant points?

This session reviews the current rewards environment and considers what must be done to keep the loyalty concept relevant. It will also consider emerging loyalty trends outside of North America and discuss how they might fit into the US card business model.

Note:  Lunch will be served during the sessions and attendance will be guaranteed to the first 75 registrants. You may register at the conference registration counters.
