John M. Reich Director, Office of Thrift Supervision United States Treasury John M. Reich was sworn in August 9, 2005, as Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS). The President nominated Mr. Reich to be OTS Director on June 7, 2005, and the Senate confirmed his nomination on July 29, 2005. In this capacity, Mr. Reich will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the FDIC. Prior to joining OTS, Mr. Reich served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since November 2002. He has been a member of the FDIC Board since January 2001. He also served as Acting Chairman of the FDIC from July to August 2001. |
