David J. Hubbard

David J. Hubbard is a Registered Principal and Regional Director for Financial Network Investment Corporation, an independent broker dealer organization.
Following graduation from high school, Dave attended the United States Military Academy at West Point for two years and then attended Northern Illinois University. He entered the financial services business in 1980.
While a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), Dave completed numerous courses with the American College and the College for Financial Planning in regards to financial planning. He is co-founder and President of the CPE Club, an organization licensed by the State of Illinois to provide continuing education for Certified Public Accountants. He has also hosted a weekly radio show entitled "Money Talks" and has co-authored a financial planning column for the Northwest Herald newspaper.
As Regional Director, Dave has assisted hundreds of financial advisors to establish and grow their practices. Additionally, he has worked with numerous banks, accounting firms and insurance agencies to successfully provide financial planning and investment advisory services to their clients. Because of this success, in 1997, Dave was asked to sit on the Board of Directors for Financial Network Investment Corporation, the youngest person to do so. He has also served as member of the five person Regional Director Advisory Council to ING Advisors Network.
David is a Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, as well as a founding member and Past President of Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association's (NISRA) Foundation, which provides leisure services to residents with disabilities. David is Past President of the Crystal Lake Jaycees and is a Senator in the Jaycees International. He has served as a member on the Board of Trustees at Eureka College and has been serving Crystal Lake School District #47 Board of Education since his election in 1992.
In 2004, Dave co-founded Leadership Greater McHenry County and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the organization. In 1995, the Illinois Jaycees recognized Dave's commitment to his family, his community, and his work by naming him one of the Ten Outstanding Young People in the State of Illinois. In 2007, the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce presented Dave with the Carl E. Wehde Award, given each year to someone who has made a verifiable contribution to the quality of life in the greater Crystal Lake area and provided inspiration for other people to become involved in efforts to assist the community.
In April 2009, Dave was named one of OnWallStreet magazine's Top Ten Branch Manager's of the Year which pays tribute to branch managers for their achievements in creating effective branch-wide marketing strategies; recruiting, developing and retaining talented financial advisors; and providing superior client service.
