Money Tree Software
Mike Vitkauskas, founder, Chairman and Chief Financial Architect for Money Tree Software, brings a wealth of financial planning and software experience to the financial planning software market. Vitkauskas started his career as a financial planner in 1965, even before the "financial planning" term was coined.
After receiving his CFP designation in 1975, and serving three terms as president of the Oregon IAFP chapters, Vitkauskas computerized his practice in 1979. At the request of many other planners, Vitkauskas formed Money Tree Software in 1981 to market the programs he had developed for his own practice.
Vitkauskas has presented educational topics at a number of conferences for financial advisors. Conferences include IAFP National Conference (International Association for Financial Planning, now known as FPA, Financial Planning Association), Regional and local Chapter FPA conferences and broker/dealer conferences. Topics have included Building your Practice with Technology, The Three Faces of Retirement Planning, Selecting Financial Planning Software, Qualified Plan Distribution Planning, the 2001 EGTRRA Tax Act and other topics.
Money Tree Software markets its programs to CFPs, CPAs, Registered Investment Advisors, insurance agents, securities representatives, fee only planners, banks and other financial advisors.
In addition to desktop financial planning applications and web based or enabled planning programs, Money Tree designs and develops custom programs for banks, broker/dealers and insurance companies.
