D.G. Markwell

D.G. is the Senior Vice-President of Marketing/Business Development for MAX Credit Union.
During his tenure with MAX, the credit union received CUES's "Phil Davies Memorial Marketing Award" for best campaign; D.G. was also named CUES "Marketer of the Year" in 1992. In 2007, D.G. was inducted into the CUNA Marketing/Business Development Hall of Fame. And in 1999, co-founded and served as conference chairman for the first eight conferences for the National Association of Community Credit Union's.
D.G. is a graduate of Auburn University and the School of Bank Marketing from the University of Georgia. He also has continuing education from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.
His local involvement has included serving on committees and boards of United Way, Goodwill Industries, Consumer Credit Counseling, Faith Broadcasting, M.A.N.E. (Montgomery Area Non-traditional Equestrians) and the MAX4Kids Foundation.
