Marlene Lund, CLTC, CSA, a professional speaker, trainer, and consultant, is truly committed to the senior market. Being President of Lund Insurance Agency, Inc., specializing in the long tem care market, for over 19 years, it became apparent that many professionals offering advice had an incorrect understanding of what was happening in the senior market. Things like keeping up with Medicaid and Medicare, understanding the new options for care, the emotional impact of a loved one needing care, running out of money – running out of choices. In order to educate professionals “Speaking of Aging, Inc.” was established. Marlene has spoken nationally to thousands of professionals – Financial Planners, Attorneys, CPA’s, Insurance Agents, Geriatric Managers, Physicians, etc. helping them understand the great options that are available to their clients and themselves as they age. Addressing the impact of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and what long-term care options are available. Her presentations expand the knowledge and understanding of the issues and importance concerning aging today.
Professionally, she is currently on the board of directors for the Midlands Elder Care Network, past board of directors for the Omaha Association of Health Underwriters and the Nebraska Financial Planning Association; faculty and member of the Society of Senior Advisors, (CSA); Certified in Long Term Care, (CLTC); and a member of the National Speakers Association. She is an active volunteer in her community, focusing with the Alzheimer’s Association, and attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
