Thomas C. “Tim” Bode is the cofounder and president of Stratis Technologies of Louisville, Kentucky. Stratis Technologies provides transaction account profitability consulting services to banks and bank holding companies through its New Opportunity Checking and Courtesy Coverage lines of business. Since 1999 we have worked with banks from $85 million to $8.5 billion in assets implementing these programs. Stratis also furnishes MarketAdvantage, an outsourced MCIF and customer profitability measurement service to financial institutions throughout the United States.
Stratis Technologies also has developed and markets The Bank Strategist information systems, which are used by over 50 banks, holding companies, analysts and regulators to enhance planning, expansion, and oversight activities.
Tim has taught at several banking schools (Kentucky Community Bankers Association, Southern Technology School of the Georgia Bankers Association, the Graduate School of Banking, Sam Houston State University), as well as conducting training sessions for the Conference of State Bank Supervisors on evaluating a bank’s strategic health. Tim has also presented research at a recent ICBA Directors’ Conference.
Prior to founding Stratis Technologies in 1992, he served as a partner in the Bank Strategy Group consulting firm from 1988 to 1992, selling, designing and performing market research and strategic analysis for financial institutions. Tim also has facilitated strategic planning sessions for management teams at community banks and super community bank holding companies.
Tim Bode earned his AB degree in economics at Davidson College and his MBA degree from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
