Robert C. Giltner is President of Furnace, Giltner and Associates of Austin, Texas. Furnace, Giltner and Associates provides turn-key debit and account acquisition and cross sell rewards programs to the financial industry.

Bob Giltner co-founded Furnace, Giltner and Associates after serving as Managing Director with Sheshunoff Management Services of Austin, Texas, primarily overseeing the Overdraft Service consulting and software practice. This division was developed from the sale of Mr. Giltner's company, Bank Strategy Group, to Sheshunoff in 2002. Mr. Giltner founded Bank Strategy Group in 1983.

In addition to providing consulting and software services to the financial industry, Mr. Giltner has taught at Sheshunoff CEO Affiliation Program, the Prochnow Graduate School of Banking, and has been a frequent speaker for the ABA, BMA and BAI. He has published numerous articles in Commercial Lending Review, Banking Strategies, Bank Cost Accounting, and Bank Accounting and Finance.
