Ms. O’Malley has over 25 years of experience with financial institutions serving in a wide variety of leadership positions with responsibility for managing collections, recovery, fraud, risk management, operations, and the legal and compliance functions.
Ms. O’Malley is currently employed as Vice President of Asset Recovery at Security Service Federal Credit Union in San Antonio, Texas. She joined SSFCU in the spring of 2008. Prior to joining SSFCU Ms. O’Malley was employed with USAA, a diversified financial services company headquartered in San Antonio where she was employed as a Vice President with management responsibility during her tenure for: collections and recovery (banking and insurance products); credit, debit and deposit account fraud management; lobby operations and bank operations. Prior to re-locating to Texas Ms. O’Malley was employed as Corporate Secretary and General Counsel for Formation Technologies a loan origination software company headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
Ms. O’Malley is an attorney, licensed to practice law in Texas, Colorado and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Ms. O’Malley holds a B.A. from Colorado College and a J.D. from the University of Denver, College of Law.
Ms. O’Malley has served in a variety of professional leadership roles including: Chairman, American Bar Association Retail Banking Committee; Member, MasterCard International Security Committee; Member, MasterCard Global Fraud Advisory Council; and Member, MasterCard Legal Advisory Council.
In addition, Ms. O’Malley was the recipient of the 2005 National Business Leadership Hall of Fame Image Award for her contributions to the education and development of young people in the San Antonio area.
