Theresa McLaughlin is Group Executive Vice President of Citizens Financial Group, Inc., responsible for all company-wide marketing for the Citizens Bank and Charter One brands. This includes brand development, sports marketing and promotions, interior and exterior signage, product management and development, advertising, database marketing and marketing research.

Her advertising contributions have been recognized twice by the American Marketing Association for effectiveness through the Effie awards. Her branch design contributions won first prize in the 2003 Institute of Store Planners / Visual Merchandising and Store Design International Store Design Competition.

McLaughlin's group includes 130 marketing professionals who develop the core marketing strategies that drive the retail and business banking growth for the company in addition to the development and execution of the company’s brand with our advertising agency, Arnold Worldwide.

She also is a member of CFG’s Executive Policy Committee, the company’s senior leadership team. CFG is one of the 10 largest commercial bank holding companies in the United States in total assets and deposits. It operates its branch network in 13 states through its Citizens Bank and Charter One brands, and has non-branch retail and commercial offices in about 40 states.

She holds her degree in marketing and has been a financial services marketing professional for more than 20 years, 10 of which have been with Citizens Financial Group.

McLaughlin has served on the board of directors of Horizons for Homeless Children, as a vice chairwoman of the United Way giving Campaign and the Boston Ad Club. She has been a keynote speaker for the European Financial Services Marketing Association as well as other industry and consumer groups.

She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and son.
