Toby Kilgore is a Principal in the Strategy and Operations Practice within Deloitte Consulting LLP’s financial services industry, with a focus on banking. Toby has more than twenty years of experience working with senior management of large domestic and international institutions. He has experience across an array of businesses, including retail banking, wealth management, middle market and corporate banking, payments, and life insurance. Areas of focus have included corporate, market and product strategy development, operational effectiveness, and organizational transformation. Most recently, Toby has been leading initiatives involving creation of customer centric organizations and end-to-end cost optimization.
Prior to Deloitte, Toby was a partner at A.T. Kearney, where he had various responsibilities, including Co-Head of the North America Financial Institutions Group and lead partner on a number of key accounts. Toby also held senior positions at Bank of America and in Price Waterhouse’s Strategy Consulting Group, concentrating on establishing and managing strategic planning processes, assessing business unit and product risk and shareholder value creation, and business expansion opportunities. Toby received an MBA from Harvard University, and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
