Mark N. Hendrix is executive vice president and director of Corporate
Marketing for PNC Bank Hendrix is responsible for line of business marketing
teams and corporate functions including advertising, merchandising, direct
response and interactive strategy.

Hendrix joined PNC in 2005 upon the company’s merger with Riggs Bank,
N.A., where he was executive vice president responsible for call center,
ATM and Internet, distribution planning, marketing, advertising and
corporate communications. He was a member of Riggs’ executive
committee and selected to lead the merger of Riggs into PNC in 2004.
Hendrix began his career working in the account management side of the
agency business with Ogilvy & Mather and McKinney & Silver. He joined
Bank One Corporation in 1990 as vice president and director of
Advertising. In 1995, he joined Barnett Banks, Inc. as director of
Marketing Communications. Hendrix has also served as a speaker at
industry forums and is a recipient of numerous national advertising
awards.

He served as a treasurer and director on the board of the Sarah’s Circle, a
Washington D.C. senior housing organization.

Hendrix received a bachelor’s degree from the University of South
Carolina.
