Bruce Schlein joined Citi in 2006 as Vice President of Environmental Affairs after having worked as a sustainability specialist for Bechtel managing community consultation, sustainability, environmental and social commitments on oil and gas and civil projects in China and Romania. Prior to Bechtel Mr. Schlein worked in a broad range of capacities for international development agencies including Save the Children, Catholic Relief Services in Bosnia Herzegovina, the U.S. Department of Energy on oil and gas industry environmental issues, and the U.S. Peace Corps in Papua New Guinea.
