Diane T. Baum
Chief Executive Officer
Enviroscore
Diane Baum is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Enviroscore. Ms. Baum is a former Environmental Specialist with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). She left DEQ and started an environmental consulting firm 12 years ago to assist small businesses with environmental regulations and permitting.
Ms. Baum’s diverse experience in environmental management led to the development of the Enviroscore method of loan evaluations for financial institutions. Enviroscore is a dramatic improvement over the current time-consuming and cumbersome environmental review process. This innovative approach systematically combines the ease of a scoring algorithm and evidence-based environmental risk factors. The result is a revolutionary method of risk scoring that is rapid, inexpensive and easy-to-use. Adoption of Enviroscore immediately creates a green loan policy for banks.
Recognizing the current market need for reliable and independent third-party due diligence review of loans, Enviroscore provides a key solution to reducing risk for banks.
Ms. Baum’s entrepreneurial spirit has guided Enviroscore to become the only predictive analytical company for environmental risk. She is leading the effort to establish Enviroscore as a nationwide loan risk assessment service for financial institutions.
Ms. Baum is a member of the Louisiana Bankers Association and National Home Builders Association. She serves on a federal advisory board, Lower Mississippi River Waterway Safety Advisory Committee (LMRWSAC) for the US Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security. She is a featured instructor and speaker for environmental management and stormwater-related compliance issues for the commercial and residential construction industry. As an advocate for affordable green home building efforts, she is a certified Green Verifier for the National Association of Home Builders Green Building Program. She studied Forestry/Wildlife at Louisiana Tech University.
