TowerGroup

Inci Kaya is a Quantitative Analyst in TowerGroup's Financial Services and IT Investments practice, specializing in modeling and projecting technology spending, benchmarking IT and business performance, and identifying emerging growth trends across the financial services industry. In addition, she covers the sustainable and environmental initiatives and trends slated to impact the financial services industry in the coming decade.

"The pulse of the financial services industry is a clear indicator of the overall health of the economy," she comments. "With margins and fees in decline, consolidation and acquisitions still fresh in our minds, and competition as fierce as it's ever been, financial services institutions (FSIs) are relying increasingly on their technology initiatives to improve their bottom line. An FSI's IT investments enable it to create new product offerings to further penetrate the marketplace, offer secure and real-time service offerings to its clients, and generate cost savings by minimizing duplication; all factors that impact its earnings."

Inci has experience in market analysis, business consulting, and international business development in financial services and other diversified industries. Before joining TowerGroup, she worked at Morgan Stanley, where she focused on equity research, investment strategies, and IRAs/retirement planning. Previously, Inci lived in Japan, interning at the Tokyo Commodity Exchange for Industry, Japan's largest futures and options commodities exchange, and in the Middle East and Europe, conducting market research for the consumer goods and the luxury goods industry. In addition to English and Japanese, she speaks Turkish and French.

She has a BA in Business Management from Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey and an MBA in International Finance from Brandeis University's International Business School.
