Networking Opportunities

SourceMedia’s inaugural Hedge Fund Investor Summit will not only give attendees the opportunity to hear leading experts in the alternative investment community speak on important industry trends, but it also offers several opportunities to network and build important relationships throughout the day.

One 45-Minute Investor Reverse Round Table Sessions
Five different investors (Fund of Funds, Family Offices, Consultants, etc.) will head up five round tables. Investors will have a topic that they will cover during each 10-minute round table session. The host of the table will be asked to allow enough time for hedge fund participants to ask questions and exchange business cards. After 10 minutes a bell will be sounded and hedge funds will be asked to switch tables. We will ring the bell 4 different times giving each hedge fund participant the opportunity to meet with 4 different investors.

*Note:  Investor Reverse Round Tables will be going on at the same time as the proposed panels in a different room.

RAPID-FIRE MANAGER SHOWCASE
Unique to the program is a session of "Rapid Fire" manager presentations to introduce investors to specific hedge fund managers and strategies.  Select managers will be able to get their funds on the radar screen of institutional investors at this premier hedge fund gathering.

Presentation process and rules:
All hedge fund and FOF managers registered for the Hedge Fund Investor Summit: Identifying the Next Generation Alpha will be prompted to sign up for the Rapid-Fire Manager Showcase two weeks before the event.

A total of 20 slots will be available at two different time slots during the course of the day.  Managers selected to speak will be notified of their Rapid-Fire slot at registration. Manager selection is up to conference organizers.

Each slot is two minutes long. Each group of Rapid-Fire participants will immediately follow a panel discussion.  If a manager misses his or her slot, they will not be able to present at another time.  Each manager will be timed and may not exceed the two-minute time limit.

No Power Point presentations or handouts may be used or distributed and speakers are prohibited from making any reference at all, either overtly or indirectly to fund performance.

Two Refreshment Breaks and Sit Down Luncheon:
Exchange business cards and network with new colleagues.  Source Media has made it easy and convenient to network throughout the day with extended refreshment breaks and a sit down lunch hour.

Wine Tasting and Cocktail Reception:
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to mingle with colleagues during a wine tasting and cocktail reception. This is a great opportunity to network with many of the speaker faculty, investors and managers that you have heard presenting throughout the day while enjoying a glass of wine.
