With more than 30 years of experience in financial institutions as both a banker and consultant, Duffie lead HP’s Business Intelligence Practice within Financial Services.  He has been involved with leading-edge developments within the financial services industry, including the creation of the automated clearinghouse, the debit card, in-home transaction services, co-branded credit cards, electronic payment networks, financial advisory/planning services, and integrated customer data warehouses.   

Doug Berman manages the data warehouse for San Francisco Health Plan. He has over 20 years of experience developing databases, reporting systems and data warehouses. Much of his career has been focused in healthcare including Medical records systems, care management and clinical trials management. He has a Bachelor's Degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and Masters Degree in Operations Research from MIT.

Jim, currently the CIO of Altera Corporation, is a keen advocate of converging IT to business goals. He draws on more than 30 years of executive leadership in software development, IT deployment and corporate management in leading companies including Brocade, Caritor, Synopsys, Silicon Graphics and IBM. He holds an MS in Computer and Information Science from Ohio State University where he currently serves on an advisory board. He is a recipient of Ohio State's Distinguished Alumnus Award from the College of Engineering.

Mr. Garza is a leader in BearingPoint's Corporate Performance Management Group. He focuses on corporate performance as well as risk management and measurement in the financial services industry, serving as the firm's senior subject matter expert on funds transfer pricing and asset/liability management. Mr. Garza has led several successful, full life cycle implementations of methodology and technology. Currently he is working with multiple financial institutions to address business requirements in the performance measurement area through innovative approaches to methodology, business process and the Oracle technology suite. Prior to joining BearingPoint, Mr. Garza consulted in the treasury and fixed income areas with a Chicago-based firm and served as Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer for a regional bank in the southwest.

Mark is among a small team of specialists instituting data administration best practices at Mt Sinai Medical Center. Implementing the policy and the data administration organization across the enterprise will be augmented by the team's creation of an enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence solution.

Sally R. Gonzalez is a Director in the Disputes & Investigations group of Navigant Consulting, Inc. She is a leading expert in knowledge management and her practice focuses on the intersection of knowledge management with corporate compliance, risk management, records management, and litigation readiness. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, organizational change management, business process engineering, and management of technology.

Mr. Gordon is the Chief Information Officer at the San Francisco Health Plan, a not-for-profit organization that serves the citizens of the city and county of San Francisco. Prior to joining the company in 2005, Mr. Gordon held senior management positions in large healthcare organizations all over the United States, most notably at UniMed Management Corporation a $1billion health care consortium serving 1.4 million patients in the state of California. He served on both the ANSI and HL-7 committees for the healthcare transaction sets. Mr. Gordon has degrees from UCLA and Northeastern University. He resides in San Ramon California with his wife and three children.

In January of 2007, Jane joined New York City Department of Finance, as Deputy Commissioner and CIO for the Agency. The Department of Finance is responsible for collecting the city revenues. She is a former CIO with Prudential Insurance.

Mr. Manno is a Director in BearingPoint's Oracle Business Intelligence practice. He has deep experience delivering over thirteen large scale data integration and enterprise technology projects across a variety of business functions. He has assisted clients in various industries and led initiatives for several global banks to deliver business intelligence, Basel II and CRM solutions aligned with CMM and Six Sigma standards. Mr. Manno has authored white papers on leading practices for enterprise software projects and his most recent project was recognized with an industry award.

Brent Miller is the Director of Knowledge Management at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, a leading international law firm with approximately 950 lawyers in the US, Europe and Asia. In his present capacity, which he has held since September, 2000, Brent is responsible for knowledge management planning, promotion and development in the firm and coordinates the efforts of KM staff consisting of lawyers, content specialists, and technical support personnel. Prior to joining Cleary Gottlieb, Brent served in various technology planning and administration roles for Nixon Peabody, LLP in Rochester, New York. Before that, Brent practiced law for eight years and was a partner at the firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson in Portland, Maine, where he concentrated on general corporate and securities law.

Gokula Mishra has more than 25 years of experience as a management consultant and an enterprise architect in developing and implementing business driven IT strategies, architectures and enterprise wide cross-functional as well as Enterprise Information Management solutions. Mr. Molley leads BearingPoint's Oracle Business Intelligence practice and serves on Oracle's Business Intelligence Partner Advisory Council. He has over 20 years of experience in the services industry, with extensive concentration within financial institutions. His professional background includes leadership positions in finance (CFO), technology (Director of Customer Information) and marketing (Database Marketing Officer). He has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, expense control, profitability modeling, measurement of marketing investments, direct mail, retail channel/segment behavior analysis, site selection and large scale technology project management.

Karen is the Vice President of Business Intelligence Solutions in IBM. She is responsible for the cross divisional strategy and execution of a business that has hundreds of customers worldwide who have implemented IBM's industry specific solutions that make up the Business Intelligence portfolio. Karen accepted this responsibility in March of 2003. Prior to this role, Karen was the Vice President of World Wide Sales where she led a team of specialists in high end data warehousing.

Tim Perry is an Account Manager at AmberLeaf, a customer intelligence consultancy. He has more than 10 years of experience in database marketing, business intelligence, program management and customer analytics, as well as corporate data governance, campaign management and sales force automation. David Stodder heads up research practices in the areas of Information Management and IT Performance Management with specialization in Business Intelligence and Analytics. David has for nearly 20 years articulated the next steps in the evolution of information technology toward strategic business applications and services that deliver intelligence throughout organizations. He was the founding chief editor of Intelligent Enterprise, a CMP Technology publication, in 1998 and served as editorial director and editor-in-chief through 2006. Previous to Intelligent Enterprise, he helped found and for 10 years served as chief editor of Database Programming & Design, a Miller Freeman, Inc. publication. David directed the Intelligent Enterprise Summit and Database Summit Series conferences, and has served on planning committees and spoken at numerous IT industry events. His research, writing, analysis and speaking engagements have focused on how business intelligence, performance management, search, information integration, databases, SOA, business rules and process management come together in cutting-edge information architecture.

Craig Terry, Director of Oracle Business Intelligence Strategy, has focused the last 15 years specifically on the BI marketplace. Working with Oracle and other BI providers, he has helped customers adopt business intelligence as a core competency in their business practices and processes. This experience is helping shape Oracle's strategy for business intelligence specific to ongoing technology and applications initiatives within the company.

Mr Thomas has spent nearly 20 years focused on selling, marketing and implementing business intelligence, enterprise performance management and information portals at Oracle, Viador and Apple. Mr Thomas was part of the mergers and acquisitions team that brought IRI Software (now the Oracle OLAP Option) to Oracle, and has been a key part of the integration teams unifying the BI components of Peoplesoft, Siebel, and Hyperion into the Oracle Business Intelligence portfolio of offerings. Joe has discussed with and presented to thousands of customers, prospects and partners on business intelligence, including events with the Economist, CIO Magazine, Information Week, and keynoting the Computerworld Business Intelligence Perspectives event.

James Young is director of Information Services Group at Allstate Insurance Company. Young is responsible for delivery of all data warehousing projects and enterprise reporting across the company. For more than 14 years, he has been primarily focused on forward-thinking business intelligence and data warehousing strategies. Prior to joining Allstate, Young was a senior manager at a major management consulting firm where he provided data warehousing solutions for banking and insurance clients. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Virginia Tech University and a master's degree in business administration from Purdue University.

Jay Young is the Chief Operating Officer for the D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board. His duties include leading the office of the Executive through strategic planning, process improvements, performance management, product development, and all related go-to-market activities. His areas of expertise include information technology, finance, sales and marketing, human resources, and business transactions.
