Steve has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, which includes Loan Administration, Default Servicing and Financial Management and Analysis. Steve has extensive experience in Default servicing having managed all areas of Default in different sized operations. Much of his experience is with subprime product but also includes prime, manufactured housing and home equity. Steve built the Marix servicing platform and incorporated state of the art technology and creative processes to produce an operation built to maximize loss mitigation opportunities. He is currently responsible for all Loan Administration functions at Marix, including Customer Service, Investor Accounting, Escrow, Loss Mitigation and Default.
Prior to joining Marix, Steve was Vice President of Loan Servicing, West Coast Operations, at MLN. Previous to MLN he was SVP at Chase Home Finance where his responsibilities included Default Servicing of the Prime, Sub Prime and Home Equity portfolios. Steve has also worked at ContiMortgage, Fleet Mortgage, First Nationwide Mortgage and Associates Credit Services. He graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a B.S. in Business Administration.
