David Wood has worked in emerging technologies and business development for more than 30 years, during which time he has participated in the early phases of multiple technology startups.  His experience includes key marketing and product management roles with Convergent Technologies (acquired by Unisys), Nuance Communications, Plexus Software (now BankSys Document Management Division), Input Software (Now the Captiva division of EMC), and DeCarta Software. Wood also served as GM Imaging for Law Cypress Distributing, becoming a recognized authority on the relationship between technology vendors and their indirect channels. 

As Sr. Director of Business Development for QUALCOMM Wireless Business Solutions Wood is the project lead of the QUALCOMM mobile commerce initiative.
 
Wood resides in the San Francisco Bay area and holds a master's degree in interactive educational technology and a bachelor's degree in history from Stanford University
