Rakshit Kapoor
Director, Master Data Management and Data Architecture

Rakshit Kapoor is the Director of Master Data Management at TIAA-CREF. He has the responsibility for enterprise initiatives on Data Quality, Data Model, Data Architecture, Customer Data Integration, Metadata and Data Governance. Rakshit will be partnering with business and IT delivery teams on variety of information, data management and business initiatives at different levels of expertise in establishing collaboration, content management, data consolidation, information delivery and data re-use strategies. He will provides expertise on the Enterprise Information Model (EIM) and all corresponding data models throughout the organization in support of enterprise integration, solutions architecture, enterprise reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives. He will also develop, document, publish, communicate, and train development resources on the EIM (enterprise logical data model).
Prior to this, he was the Director of Business Intelligence and Master Data Management at Avaya Inc. In his role at Avaya, he was responsible for the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence teams. He also initiated and spearheaded the Customer Information Management initiative at Avaya as part of its Master Data Management strategy. His other past experiences have been at Oracle Corporation as Senior Principal Consultant, where he helped clients with various data warehousing, business-to-business, business-to-consumer, EAI and system integration solutions and at Hughes Network Systems where he lead development effort for document and workflow management systems. He has a Bachelors degree from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, Masters of Information Systems from George Washington University and an MBA from University of Maryland. |
