Diane Schmidt is a Senior Director at Freddie Mac supporting Enterprise Information Strategy & Management (EISM).  Reporting to Justin Magruder, VP, EISM; Ms. Schmidt is responsible for the management and implementation of the Reference Data Services Initiative.  Since joining Freddie Mac in 1998, Ms. Schmidt has held a series leadership positions and managed a myriad of critical data initiatives including those related business intelligence, data warehousing, financial reporting, risk, compliance and controls.   Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Ms. Schmidt worked for SAIC and focused upon enterprise data modeling in support of federal and local governments.

Ms. Schmidt received her MS in Information Management from Marymount University and a BA in International Affairs from the University of Mary Washington.  She received two graduate level project management certificates from George Washington University.  She is a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma honor society, Junior League of Northern Virginia (JLNV) and Women in Technology (WIT).  She currently resides in Alexandria, VA.
