Richard Wohl is a managing partner at Fortace, a company that works with major mortgage loan and bond investors, national lenders and servicers to pursue and recover fraud losses. Prior to founding Fortace, Mr. Wohl was President of Indymac Bank, a top ten national mortgage lender and servicer, where among other activities, he established a specialized fraud pursuit division that recovered over $50 million per year over an eight year period. Mr. Wohl has been a national board member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, co-chairman of its Fraud Task Force, and a regular speaker at mortgage conferences. He was an attorney for six years with Morrison & Forester LLP in Los Angeles, and is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review.
