Vanessa Gail Perry, MBA, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the George Washington University School of Business, and teaches courses in Consumer Behavior and Marketing Research.

Professor Perry’s research has focused on marketing and public policy, particularly in the areas of consumer information acquisition and the effects of markets on consumers. Currently, her research interests include consumer financial decisions, consumer credit use, and the financial performance of small businesses. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Consumer Affairs, The Journal of Retailing, The Journal of Housing Economics, and several other academic and professional publications.

Professor Perry holds a BA in Philosophy from the American University, an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

McLaughlin earned a Master’s in Information Systems and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from San Diego State University. He speaks at conferences and seminars and is an expert on Web strategy for financial services companies.
