With over 500 investment advisors the firm ranks nationally in the top 50 among independent broker/dealers. Mr. Wild also founded Securities America, Inc., in 1989. Through industry leading innovations, Securities America experienced phenomenal growth to become the nation’s sixth largest independent broker/dealer by 1998 when it was sold to American Express. Prior to forming Securities America, Mr. Wild founded Financial Dynamics, Inc. in 1979. This Company was the nation’s largest universal life insurance marketing company and paid for $10 billion of life insurance in the decade of the 1980’s. In 2005 Mr. Wild founded the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s “Institute for Collaboration Science”, the only University program in the world dedicated to researching and teaching collaboration. He has been the recipient of the University of Nebraska at Omaha Alumnus Achievement Award (1994), the University’s highest alumnus honor and the Tower Award (2006), the University’s highest award for civic contributions. Steve and his family (wife Cheryl, sons Deric and Drew) are active in the Omaha community and were named by Heartland Family Service as Omaha’s Leadership Family of the Year for 1999.
