Anthony T. Meola joined Morgan Stanley in June of 2007 as Chief Operating Officer of its U.S Residential Lending Operations. He is responsible for all aspects of  Morgan Stanley’s Busines Stratgey and Operational Execution in the Mortgage space for the United States. Prior to this poistion Meola  wase employed by New Century from May 2006 to May 2007 as Executive Vice President, Production. He was  responsible for managing and expanding the company's national production franchise, broadening the mortgage product menu available for delivery through all loan origination channels and increasing productivity to enhance competitive position. Prior to joining New Century, Mr. Meola was Executive Vice President of Mortgage Banking Production for Washington Mutual's Consumer Group, where he was responsible for directing the retail, wholesale and correspondent lending operations in the U.S. Mr. Meola has more than 22 years experience at the senior management level in the mortgage industry. He joined Washington Mutual in 2000 as Head of Loan Servicing for the Home Loans & Insurance Services Group. Previously, Mr. Meola was the Chief Operations Officer at PNC Mortgage, responsible for all customer acquisitions, in addition to marketing and service for all customer acquisition channels. Prior to leading loan production, he held the position of Senior Vice President of National Operations & Technology. Before joining PNC Mortgage, Mr. Meola spent seven years at Citicorp Mortgage, Inc., as Senior Vice President of mortgage operations and as Chief Financial Officer of their mortgage business. Mr. Meola is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association's Residential Board of Governors, Chicago Public Education Fund and is involved in public speaking. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University.
