Bob Caruso is the Servicing and Post Closing executive for Consumer Real Estate and Insurance Services Group at Bank of America, one of the world’s leading financial services companies. Bank of America serves more than 59 million consumers and small businesses nationally, including banking centers located in 33 states and the District of Columbia and 175 countries around the globe.

In this role, Caruso oversees Bank of America’s mortgage servicing, home equity and non-real estate portfolios. He is responsible for all servicing and post closing operations, including
development of short-and long-term servicing strategy, customer retention and relationship deepening.

Additionally, Caruso leads Consumer Real Estate’s Vendor Management, Business Continuity Planning, Quality Assurance, Compensation Administration, Executive Complaints, Collection Products and other business administration functions. Under Caruso’s leadership, Bank of America’s mortgage and home equity servicing has been recognized with top ratings by external agencies such as Moody’s Investors Service, JD Power and Associates, Fitch Ratings, Freddie Mac and the Federal Housing Administration.

With over 20 years of experience, Caruso is among one of the most recognized and respected servicing leaders in the industry. Prior to joining Bank of America in May of 2004, he served
as executive vice president, servicing operations at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

He was responsible for servicing and post-closing operations supporting Wells Fargo’s mortgage
servicing portfolio, as well as the company’s post closing and sub-servicing operations. Caruso also has held senior management positions with Chase and C&S Bank. Caruso is a graduate of Barry University in Miami with a bachelor’s degree in Professional
Studies. He serves as a member of both the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae advisory boards and is past chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association loan administration steering committee. In 2007, he earned Direct Servicing News’ first annual Lifetime Achievement Award.
