Larry B. Litton, Jr., is the president and chief executive officer of Litton Loan Servicing, overseeing the day-to-day operation of Litton’s $75BB mortgage servicing portfolio.
As a founding member of the company, Larry has been involved in every aspect of the business since its inception in 1988 and has been a leader behind Litton’s commitment to high quality customer care. Larry has implemented a number of programs and systems at Litton that have increased customer satisfaction and raised service levels to the top of the industry.
Under his direction, the company has developed a host of default servicing technologies and loan resolution programs that have significantly reduced credit losses for investors and have resulted in preserving homeownership for tens of thousands of families across America.
Larry is also responsible for creating a cross-departmental operational plan to increase customer outreach opportunities through strategic loss mitigation strategies and by investing significant resources in technology, personnel training, vendor relationships, and other outreach methods.
With more than 20 years of experience in mortgage servicing, Larry is often asked to speak on servicing-related matters and is considered an expert in the servicing of credit-sensitive mortgage loans.
Larry was recently appointed to serve on the Federal Reserve Board’s Consumer Advisory Council. He also serves on the Mortgage Bankers Association Residential Board of Governors and the Board of Directors of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, and served on the State of Ohio Foreclosure Preservation Task Force, among other leadership positions. He has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, Business Week, National Mortgage News, and Forbes.
