Paul Halpern is a Partner in Versa Capital Management (fka Chrysalis Capital Partners). Versa is a private equity firm managing $300 million of committed capital focused on control investments in special situations involving middle-market companies in a wide variety of industries across the United States. Mr. Halpern has invested in, managed and advised companies in special situations for more than 18 years. His experiences cover a wide spectrum of industries in circumstances ranging from underperformers to companies on the verge of liquidation. Recent Versa transactions include Central Lewmar, the leading paper merchant in the Northeast; Simplexity LLC, the largest internet provider of cell phones and activation services; and Central Parking, the world’s largest operator of parking facilities.
