Hugh Gallagher is responsible for SunTrust’s Enterprise Payments Strategy and Retail Deposit Product Management organizations.
Mr. Gallagher, who has more than 20 years of technology and financial services industry experience, joined SunTrust in August 2007. Prior to joining SunTrust, he was a Partner with Edgar, Dunn & Company, a global strategy consulting firm specializing in payments and financial services. Before that, he held senior management positions in Product Management, Business Strategy and Global Corporate Development with eFunds Corporation; served as part of the senior management team at First Annapolis Consulting; and, worked in the International Division at NBD Bank (now J.P. Morgan Chase).
Mr. Gallagher earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
