Susan Faulkner is Bank of America’s Deposits/Debit executive. The organization she manages is responsible for the origination, fulfillment and servicing of deposit and debit products across all distribution channels. She also leads group banking, student lending and the deposits productivity initiative. Faulkner is a member of the company’s Management Operating Committee, and reports to Global Consumer and Small Business Banking President, Liam McGee.
Previously, Faulkner was Global Consumer & Small Business Sales, Service & Marketing executive. In this role, her responsibilities included integrating products and services delivery across all distribution channels, sales, marketing and customer service processes, skill building, capacity management, analytics and performance management.
Before that role, Faulkner was Portfolio Analysis and Review executive within the Risk Management organization. In this position, Faulkner focused on driving strategic assessment of the enterprise credit portfolio and on improving policies, tools and processes for managing credit across the corporation. Faulkner joined Risk Management in October 2003 as the Central Credit Risk Management and Portfolio Analysis executive. Before that, she was Chief Financial Officer for the Consumer and Commercial Bank.
Faulkner joined the bank in 1984 as a financial analyst. She has held many different positions within the Finance Group including Corporate Accounting/Performance Measurement executive, Financial Reporting and Policy, Asset Securitization and Structured Transaction Support, Treasury Support, Financial Analysis and Reporting and Management Accounting.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Faulkner received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgia Southern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
Faulkner is on the board of directors and treasurer of the Central Carolinas United Way. She is also on the board of the Urban Ministries Center in Charlotte.
