Risk Management And Credit Operational Effectiveness

Presenters:
Alex McNeily, Senior Credit Product Expert, Harland Financial Solutions
Basil Blume, EVP – Chief Information Officer, Colorado Capital Bank

Session Description

Many commercial lenders are struggling with mixed technology software applications, islands of data, substandard monitoring and reporting and systems which hamper quality risk and process management today – as well as being impediments to future growth.  This session will focus on identifying the problem areas and using collaboration to energize everyone in the credit management workflow.  It will include a case study of Colorado Capital Bank’s journey and decision to revamp their commercial credit systems in order to meet aggressive growth targets. Harland Financial Solutions, a significant vendor in the commercial credit automation marketplace, will share their experience on current status of technology and marketplace expectations.

Benefits for attendees:

  1. Come away with an executive perspective on the issues – internal, technology, culture and vendor – that should help you identify positive steps you can take within your organization for undertaking credit technology investment projects.
  2. Identify tangible and soft areas where technology can provide a return on your investment.
  3. Gain a realistic approach for assessment of vendor technology promises.

Note:  Lunch will be served during the sessions and attendance will be guaranteed to the first 60 registrants.  You may register at the conference registration counters.
