Brian is EVP and General Manager for Commercial Payment Solutions, a US Cards Partnership Group business focused on delivering payment solutions to Small Business and Middle Market clients.

Brian joined Citibank in 1985 as a Management Associate with the New York Investment Bank. Prior to that, he held Marketing/Sales positions at IBM in the Philippines and Cargill, Inc. in the US. After four years trading interest rate risk, he relocated to Madrid, Spain to market FX and interest rate hedge strategies to corporate clients. Brian represented Citibank’s participation in Spain’s first financial futures exchange and was appointed to the Board of Directors to serve on the Admissions and Risk committee. After two years, he joined the Consumer Bank in Madrid and spent four years as a Marketing Director for Credit Cards in Spain. He returned to the US Cards business in Strategic Planning where he developed strategies for bill payment, the Internet and Customer Service Leveraging. In Strategic Planning Brian began directing Card Cross-sell development activities and later ran Cross-sell as a stand-alone business selling Home Equity debt consolidation loans, Property & Casualty products and other specialty products.

Brian earned a BA from Rollins College. He is Chairman of the Diners Club North America Executive Committee, Senior Executive Sponsor for the Global Talent Development Program and a Senior Executive Recruiter for the Cards Management Associate Program. He participates in various not-for-profit organizations and lives in Manhattan with his wife and three daughters.
