The folks who wrote the words, “May you live in interesting times,” also coined the phrase, “the times produce their heroes.” Quoting our President, it’s time now for us to “…pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.” And, in our case, remaking the banking industry.
American Banker and RMA’s 14th Annual Small Business Banking Conference will help all of us dust ourselves off and recommit to the work we must do in 2009 for our teams, for our customers, and for our industry and country.
Entitled, Focus Forward: Innovative Solutions for Small Business Revenue Generation and Growth, our conference this year will look forward, not back; look at revenue and growth more than danger and risk; and look at new ideas and emerging leaders who have found ways to focus and move forward in these interesting times.
