William (Bill) Dawson

Bill Dawson is Director, Small Business Banking at Scotiabank. In his role as Director, Bill is responsible for product development, sales, service, internal training design and implementation of strategies to serve the needs of small business owners.
As Director he has successfully launched several customer tools covering sales and marketing, cash flow and a “How To Guide” to help small business owners/customers grow their business.
Bill joined Scotiabank in 1974 and has held progressively senior managerial roles in Ontario, most recently as District Vice President for Barrie & Muskoka. He was appointed to his present position in 2007.
Bill is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at the Richard Ivey School of Business.
Bill and his wife, Lynn, have two grown children.
