Janet Barnes is vice president, sales development and customer experience for Fifth Third Bank in Chicago. She has over ten years experience in the banking and financial services industries. Ms. Barnes manages the Bank’s customer experience program for financial centers in Chicagoland and Northern Indiana, which includes creating processes and standards for sales and service programs that help maximize the Bank’s sales portfolio.
Prior to joining Fifth Third, Ms. Barnes worked within Goldman Sachs Asset Management for Goldman Sachs. She also served as Director of Sales Technology at Conseco and as a Senior Manager at Accenture earlier in her career.
Ms. Barnes earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Quality and Performance Management from Marquette University in Milwaukee. She resides on the board of directors for the John G. Shedd Aquarium and serves as the co-chair of Oktoberfest Chicago.
