Peter Robin is senior director of the Banking and Financial Markets team in the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG). IBSG works with many of the world's leading companies to help them become more competitive through effective business processes and technology deployment.
Prior to joining Cisco, he was chief executive of a 100-person IT consultancy serving the capital markets and investment banking segments in London and New York. Robin was also vice president of IBM's Global Financial Markets Practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, where he established the retail and wholesale bank consulting activity. Before that, he was partner of PricewaterhouseCooper’s Financial Services Practice, where he was responsible for business process reengineering and IT strategy.
Robin has contributed to more than 50 financial institutions over the past 25 years. Global strategic and operational knowledge of capital markets and retail financial services has been gained through advisory and operational experience.
Robin graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, with a B.Sc. in computer science. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a chartered member of the British Computer Society, and a member of the British Institute of Management.
