Gregory Hebner is the President of MOS Group, Inc. (Mortgage Outreach Services), a leader in the mortgage default industry for over 30 years. Mr. Hebner has over 10 years of experience in the real estate and mortgage industries, and is an expert in loss mitigation, mortgage servicing, defaults and delinquencies, as well as in the industry’s proven methods for maximizing the value of non-performing residential loans.
Since joining The MOS Group, Mr. Hebner has led the rapid expansion of the MOS Group staff and customer base, including the growth of the company’s east coast operations center in Glen Allen, Virginia as well as the launch of a new operations center in Irvine, California that now employs nearly 200 loss mitigation professionals. Mr. Hebner has been a major driver behind the organization’s consumer education division, which includes www.MortgageOutreach.org, a new website that serves as a trusted and neutral consumer resource for news and information, and provides troubled borrowers with detailed information on available options for best handling their mortgage issues. Additionally, Mr. Hebner has spearheaded the expansion of MOS into one of the largest outsourced service providers for the Treasury’s Home Affordable Modification Program.
During Mr. Hebner’s distinguished career, he has served as CEO of Relocation.com, where he played a key role in building the company into one of the leading online resources for moving and relocation services. His career also includes positions as Senior Vice President of Consumer Media Services at Realtor.com’s parent company Move, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOVE), as well as several financial and operations management roles at leading consumer products and services companies such as The Walt Disney Co., Premark International, and Price Waterhouse.
A frequent speaker, presenter and panelist at industry trade shows and conferences, Mr. Hebner has also authored several articles for the mortgage and real estate press. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois. Mr. Hebner is a licensed real estate broker in California and for over 10 years, has been an active investor in distressed residential real estate, amassing a multi-million dollar portfolio of properties through the foreclosure and REO process.
